Reading- This week, we'll begin the reading strategies NOTICE AND NOTES. See the chart below for reference. Contrasts & Contradictions Aha Moment Language/Writing- Students will finish their personal narrative essay this week, then we'll move on to writing using the RACE strategy. We will also be learning how to use commas with yes/no, tag questions, and direct address. Comma Powerpoint Spelling: Students should be working on Lesson 5 this week , Spelling is all on-line and students are expected to practice and complete lessons each week. Math- We'll review all decimal place value concepts at the beginning of the week, then move on to working with Powers of Ten.
