Homework
I will be posting homework on the blog daily. Please check the blog to see your student's homework assignments. Your student should also be writing the assignments in the agenda.
Reading
Reading Benchmark Assessments will continue this week. We'll continue the novel: Fish in a Tree. Students will continue to use the UNWRAP strategy in their reading passages.
Language/Writing
LAD this week will focus on the following concepts: Comma usage, conjunctions, figurative language, prepositions, verb usage. We will go to the Writing Lab on Tuesdays and Thursdays each week to work on Narrative Writing.
Math
This week we will begin understanding the Place Value System.
