Reading We will continue to work on the following Learning Target: Compare and contrast the overall structure (e.g., chronology, comparison, cause/effect, problem/solution) of events, ideas, concepts, or information in two or more texts. We will begin working with close reading strategies with some October themed & Matter science information passages. The students will "mark up" the text and answer questions by referring to the text. We will also begin discussing common themes in fictional text. We will begin planning for our Book Clubs. Language Arts/Writing We will continue to work in the Writing Lab on our Constructed Response narrative passage. Students will conference with Mrs. Wishon or I on their reading response passage.
